Healthy Muffins

Mix thoughroughly, in a bowl, the apple butter, the honey, the molasses,the eggs, the juice.

Add flour, baking power, salt ,bran and raisins; mix well.

Fill muffin molds, and cook at 400 F for 20 minutes.Gives 12 muffins.

 

Raisins may be substituted for carob chips.
Apple butter can be replaced by compote (apple sauce)

 

Be Creative !
1/4 cup apple butter
1/2 cup unpasteurized honey or maple yrup
1/4 cup blackstrap molasses
2 med eggs
1 cup orange juice or spring water
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder(w/out aluminum)
Salt
1 1/2 cups muesli or natural bran
1/2 cup unsulfered raisins
